    Gerry Mullins

    As President, Gerry leads Gilardi’s class action services. He brings more than 20 years of strategic oversight and financial operations expertise. Over the years, he has fostered strategic relationships with major financial institutions to bring alternative financial solutions to clients. Gerry joined KCC, Gilardi's sister company, as the Chief Financial Officer in 2009, after serving as the US Controller at Computershare for nearly 10 years. He previously held financial leadership roles with the Irish Dairy Board and Price Waterhouse Coopers. Gerry earned a Masters in Business Studies from Dublin City University, where he also completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Finance. He is a Chartered Accountant.

    Bryan Butvick

    As returning CEO, Bryan drives strategic planning and key growth initiatives for Gilardi & Co., a market leader in claims administration support services. Bryan’s leadership style builds upon the company’s responsive services approach, industry expertise, and innovative technologies. He is committed to fostering client satisfaction through long-term and trust-based relationships, an approach that he has cultivated over his 25-year career in the financial and securities industries. Prior to Gilardi, Bryan was the Executive Vice President of Computershare’s M&A Strategy group, growing Computershare’s US-based business units through strategic acquisitions and partnerships. Notably, Bryan led the acquisition teams for KCC and Specialized Loan Servicing, where he served as CEO of both. In addition, he led the acquisition teams for many other Computershare companies. He has held several business development, leadership, and board positions, responsible for the financial and operational performance of various business units. Bryan earned a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Delaware and is involved with several charities and foundations, including KEEN-NY and The Marfan Foundation.

    Peter Crudo

    As Executive Vice President, Peter is involved with all aspects of the Gilardi business, both strategic and operational. He directly oversees the teams managing all complex administrations (Securities, Antitrust and Government), and has worked on numerous of the largest and most complex settlements worldwide, including those related to Enron ($7.2bn), AOL Time Warner ($2.2 bn), Household ($1.57 bn), Toyota ($1.3 bn), AIG ($975 mm) and the ongoing Fortis settlement stemming from litigation in the Netherlands (€1.3 bn). Peter brings broad experience and perspective to his role as he has worked both as an attorney in private practice and in senior level management in both private and public technology companies. The CEO of Gilardi for more than a decade. Peter has lectured on litigation and claims administration issues to international institutions, investors and client panels in the United States, Europe and Asia. He has testified in courts throughout the country on settlement matters and has been a featured speaker at various Federal judicial conferences. Prior to practicing law, Peter served in the Jesuit International Volunteers in Micronesia. While there, he taught high school, helped prison inmates obtain their GED’s and taught English to immigrant workers. Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at Berkeley, a Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and an LL.M in International Financial Law from the University of London, with distinction. He is a board member of the Salesian Boys and Girls Club of San Francisco, an advisory board member of the an advisory board member of the Okizu Foundation, which serves children with cancer and their families, and a former Board member of the Legal Aid.

    Lara McDermott

    Lara brings more than 15 years of experience to her role as Executive Vice President of Compliance and Settlement Fund Accounting. She is responsible for strategic growth and guidance in both tax compliance and settlement fund accounting. In the last five years, Lara and her team have overseen the distribution of more than 7,700 class distributions, representing over 31 million payments disbursing more than $17Billion in assets. As digital disbursements continue to grow, this team has helped facilitate more than 70 class distributions for more than 2 million claimants across a variety of digital distribution platforms; such as PayPal, Venmo, Zello, Amazon and Interac. Prior to joining Gilardi, Lara specialized in public accounting for over a decade, serving as an audit manager for PriceWaterhouseCoopers in the Financial Services sector based in San Francisco, Singapore and New York. Throughout her years of experience in settlement administration, Lara has overseen more than 2,000 settlement administrations, which have included some of the largest and most complex private settlements in history: Enron; UnitedHealth; AIG; Pfizer; and Fortis (Europe) . She has also appeared as a featured speaker before numerous federal government entities. Lara graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics and Psychology, and holds a Masters of Applied Finance from Macquarie University, Australia, as well as a California C.P.A. License. Recently, Lara obtained a Certified Treasury Professional certification.

    Mishka Ferguson

    Mishka brings over 10 years of settlement administration experience to her role as Vice President. As Vice President of the Securities vertical, Mishka is responsible for overall day-to-day management of the securities processing, tasks and cases. Prior to her current role, Mishka held numerous roles within Gilardi, making her very knowledgeable of the settlement administration industry. In addition to her role as Vice President, Mishka is currently the case manager for several open cases which are in various phases of notice, claims processing and distribution. These cases include many of Gilardi’s most sensitive and complex matters such as JP Morgan RMBS Settlement, Pfizer Securities Litigation, AIG 2008 Securities Litigation, Household International Securities Litigation, and DHB Industries Inc. Class Action and Restitution.
  • Daniel Burke

    Daniel Burke

    As Executive Vice President, Dan oversees the management of Gilardi’s  consumer and antitrust settlements. He has personally managed several hundred class action cases of all types and sizes.  Dan has appeared as an expert panelist, speaking on claims administration issues on numerous CLE panels, in front of various legal and government organizations, and internationally before multinational financial entities. Prior to Gilardi, Dan served as a Deputy District Attorney in Alameda County for 14 years. He has tried more than 100 cases to verdict, including in excess of 40 jury trials. Before working as a prosecutor, he served as an extern for California Appellate Court Justice Timothy Reardon. Dan received his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Santa Clara University and his Juris Doctor from Golden Gate University. He is an active member of the California State Bar. Dan has lectured on claims administration at numerous venues including California Judicial College and seminars held by the California District Attorneys’ Association.
